Our cakes come in six flavors: Cinnamon Swirl, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Hazeltov, Lemon Blueberry, Pumpkin Spice, Red Velvet. We garnish each cake with organic coconut butter, vanilla bean, *Stardust and a variety of homemade drizzles based on the cake.
We crafted these cakes to meet the growing dietary needs of people seeking better and healthier mind, body and spirit. Our cakes also freeze and reheat without losing flavor, so you can enjoy them anytime you want.
In December of 2014, dad underwent a quadruple bypass surgery due to the discovery of advanced cardiovascular disease.
Weeks after, he began to research why this disease is so prevalent. All fingers pointed to the Western diet made up of ultra-processed foods filled with sodium, synthetic trans fats, gluten, and artificial sweeteners—foods he'd eaten his entire life and prescription medication laced with compromising side effects.
Under the care of his new physician, Paleo Cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson, dad stopped taking all the prescribed heart meds and switched his diet to Paleo.
Within weeks, the debilitating side effects of the meds disappeared. His body started to heal in miraculous ways.
On the one-year anniversary of his surgery, we set out to bake him a cake made with paleo ingredients. Every recipe we tried resulted in a dense, dry, and tasteless product.
So we kept at it, experimenting with our own recipe. Two years and hundreds of failures later, we pulled a batch out of the oven that looked, smelled, and tasted like the real thing.
In December of 2017, we launched Heartfelt so that we could provide our cakes to others.
